Border Officer is an intensity-packed, story-driven simulation wherein you take the role of one of the employees who check your papers at immigration. You will work the booth as a border control agent in a political hotbed. Document verification, interrogation, and moral ambivalence blend to create a captivating, nail-biting situation. The main part of the game is focused on “document authentication, ” where you examine the authenticity of passports and visas together with cargo manifests for fake ones, inconsistencies, or covert clues. As your “suspicion meter, ” your intuition is followed up. The mistake of acting upon an incorrect lead, or the failure to spot a very important detail, will increase your stress and could lead to a deadly confrontation. “Interrogation System, ” through which you are in a position to ask the travellers some questions, lets you uncover their motives and secrets, fears and hidden plans; your every decision will impact your reputation and bring about new storylines. On the one hand, border checkpoints are spread throughout the game as areas with lots to do, and each level features different characters, quests, and unique obstacles as the player progresses from the Primary Inspection Booth to the Secondary Screening Room, finally to Cargo Bay, Detention Wing, and Administrative Office. Multiplayer has a ‘co-op shift’ mode where two officers can take control of a checkpoint together. One officer will check the documents while the other officer interviews the applicants.
