Players of Rubinite will assume the role of a solitary prospector on a desolate, icy planet covered with crystals. In this game, the elements of resource mining, survival challenges, and building a base come together to create a rich, atmospheric experience. The main activity is called “crystal harvesting”; you will find this mineral all over the planet’s surface, especially in the underground parts of the planet, where rubinite is a rare and highly energy-rich mineral. Each modification to an outpost will be accompanied by a special function such as quarters, storage areas, and production plants. In the game, the whole area is an interactive 3D world with different biomes where you can find different resources: the Crystal Fields, the Magma Tunnels, the Abyssal Trench, the Shifting Dunes, and the Geode Caverns. Each place is distinctive for the minerals it has and the hazards it presents, as well as the unique creatures that roam there.
