Unbridled: That Horse Game catapults players into an open world of hysterics where equestrian nature meets absurd, physics-powered havoc. This game is the opposite of those traditional horse sims; it is more about unpredictability—racing through sunflower fields one second and then getting launched into space by a rogue trampoline the next. The gameplay is focused on the process of taming, riding, and (most of the time, unintentionally) annihilating everything that is in your way with a group of derpy, hyper-expressive horses, each one with its personality—some of them stubbornly refuse to jump over fences.

In contrast, the others recklessly throw the riders into the lakes. The dynamic events vary from competitive dressage (which is judged by a panel of overly critical geese) to complete rodeo chaos, a situation in which your horse may suddenly become the case of balloon phobia or even be magnetically drawn to the cars that are parked.

The world is interacting with your equine antics: NPCs are screaming and dodging, the damage to the property is going on, and it has its own ‘hoof repair bill’ stat, and the rival horse gangs are challenging you to impromptu races in the shopping malls. The deep customization system (you can put your horse in anything from disco bell boots to jetpacks) and the sandbox which is packed with interactive objects—exploding hay bales, slippery banana peels, and suspiciously bouncy cows—Unbridled completely changes the peaceful fantasy of horse ownership into a slapstick fever dream where every ride is a potential disaster.
