Bio​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Inc. Redemption is a diabolical biomedical strategy simulator that pits the player as a shadowy pathogen mastermind or a global health coalition combating the engineered pandemics. In the Plague Master Mode, the player’s focus is on a Symptom and Combo Progression Tree that represents the step-by-step microbial mutating process, wherein the player can strategically combine environmental factors and patient lifestyle choices to create deadly disease synergies—say, when one triggers a cytokine storm by first weakening the immune system with stress and malnutrition, and then introducing a respiratory virus. The Dynamic Patient Physiology Engine runs a real-time simulation of organ system functions, treatment responses, and adaptive immunity, thereby making it a necessity for plague designers to keep changing their tactics against the immune system and the doctor’s intervention as well.
