Human Fast Food is a tongue-in-cheek, absurdist horror game that gives the notion of fast food a negative makeover by making the player take the role of an employee locked up in a horrifying restaurant where people are the main ingredient. Placed in an ugly, neon-drenched diner that evokes the 80s America that fell apart, your main task is to run through moving corridors, escape monstrous “customers”, and get out of your way after solving criminal puzzles—taught with the use of less of your brain—trying to keep sanity and resources. The core of the game presents a combination of stealth, resource management, and psychological horror genres, and the actual action of the main character would be hiding inside the fridges, offering the monsters meat, and, no less importantly, the restoration of the diary by the discovering of the miserable eateries of the restaurant.

The game art style is a retro live-action piece of clothing brought together with a horror type of body language that’s the best example of classic arcade aesthetics and an eerie state of mind in something like, for example, a Five Nights at Freddy’s game following some parts of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre movie storyline. Any choice you make will determine what could happen later: Would you rather spoil the kitchen to kill the pursuers or try to make a weapon out of kitchen tools? Different endings, procedurally generated layouts, and a mishmash of happy tunes with eerie sounds on the soundtrack make Human Fast Food a hard-to-form controversial comment on consumption and possible development, where only the Happy Meal remains a survival option.
