In Zyntaris, players become a baby universe creator in a procedurally generated galaxy where cosmic manipulation, resource management, and real-time strategy are combined into an awe-inspiring, divine-like simulation. The main loop consists of “stellar engineering,” and you can build planets, ignite the stars, and create nebulae. Each move will consume “astral energy” extracted from gravitational anomalies, solar flares; if you take too much, it will lead to destruction, so you need to watch out that supernovae, black holes do not collapse and ruin your own solar system. Your “observation deck” operates as a dynamic command center and tells you everything that’s going on in real-time, from the environment to the lifeforms to where the resources are. Every heavenbody can support a different type of biosphere, like a crystalline forest or metha-based oceans, each with distinct ecosystems requiring different balances. The “life seeding” system allows you to create microorganisms in different ways each time, as the changes in atmospheric pressure, radiation amounts, tectonic movements, etc., will guide their evolution. War is fought in “cosmic skirmishes” against fellow architects by using gravitational manipulation, manipulating light, using asteroid belts as weapons, and destabilizing star cores. The game world is divided into five different parts: the Nebula Wastes, the Helix Cluster, the Void Rift, the Chroma Expanse, and the Singularity Core, which contain all different kinds of resources and mysterious events.
