In Super Bunny Man, you get to control a floppy, carrot-crazy rabbit in a physics-based 2D platforming level that’s essentially a nightmare where ragdoll antics, cooperative craziness, and really tough levels come together to give you a hilarious coordination challenge. “Momentum mismanagement” is the main thing that you do over and over at the core. Your rabbit limbs can be controlled independently (jump with A, grab with X, twist shoulders with triggers), but the body keeps flopping with every action; a normal hop could result in a somersault, grabbing might turn you into a pendulum, and landing on your head simply makes you do a funny “neck reset” move. Your mission in each stage is to take a carrot to a floating goalpost, but there are pitfalls. You have to watch out for bear traps that could clamp onto your torso, rotten-log bridges that fall when walked on, saw blades that cause your legs to fly around like in a cartoon when cut off, and slippery ice that creates a sliding effect for each step taken. Thanks to the “grab persistence” feature, your bunny can cling to almost anything, like branches of a tree, the back of other bunnies, moving conveyor belts, or even airborne objects. Playing with friends in co-op makes you really depend on each other: in “partner carry” type of levels, while one bunny is holding the carrot, the other bunny pulls them through vine swings; in “race mode, ” up to four players can compete, having the camera following the leader, the players behind have to find their way without assistance. With the “cursed carrot” mode, you have a countdown for a bomb-type explosion, which means you have to keep passing the carrot to different players before it goes off.
