Terraria is a vast 2D sandbox adventure that perfectly combines the elements of deep exploration, challenging combat, and unlimited creativity within a vibrant, procedurally generated world full of secrets and dangers. The game is essentially a cycle of gathering, crafting, building, and conquering: initially, you only have the simplest of tools with which you go and mine the earth for ores and resources, and then these are used to make the equipment, weapons, and building materials of the best quality, thus enabling you to go further and further into the dark and dangerous caves until you can challenge strange biomes and fight terrifying bosses.
