Badlands Crew introduces players to a chaotic post-apocalyptic environment where only the fittest, the wildest, and the most brutal ones can stay alive. In the guise of a rebel leader, you set out to rally a group of misfits, each with a bagful of intriguing skills—from ace scavengers to oil-stained engineers—and to put together a fleet of resistance vehicles by decking them out with portable armaments, such as machine guns, flamethrowers, and hastily constructed armor plating.

The unrestricted open-world environment is your playground, allowing you to engage in activities such as looting enemy gangs, seizing convoys in high-speed pursuits, or taking over a place through the intensity of demolition derbies. The change of factional dynamics dictates that your formerly friendly comrades can easily switch sides to become your new enemy, forcing you to negotiate through various conspiracy implications and disloyalties. Beside the mayhem, be the one who unearths the secrets hidden in dust-covered edifices, empowers himself with death traps, and turns the current lodging into an invulnerable fortress.

Badlands Crew consistently builds the fury with high-octane car combat action inspired by the movie Mad Max, combined with the tactical depth of squad-based strategy and a world that morally is on the line wherein text-based dialogue, instead of just flavoursome voice-overs, drive the experience.

The future world, a wasteland, reinforces the game’s dark mood. Even the graphics and sound match the setting; it is grey and darker than some.
