PAKO – Car Chase Simulator offers arcade-style driving as minimally as possible. It captures the essence of a high-speed chase and transforms it into simply addictive one-touch gameplay. You are the driver in those frantic chases, navigating through traffic, escaping police roadblocks, and grabbing cash in a large open world that is easy to navigate as well as rewarding to master. The heart of gameplay is a never-ending chase for a high score. When you start a game, you tap once, after which your vehicle moves on its own, always driving forward and heading to the next checkpoint. You can only steer left or right by tapping, drifting around corners, and maneuvering through tight spaces between oncoming cars. What attracts players the most is the gameplay’s impeccable, pick-up-and-play nature. The “Pickup” mechanic, which involves strategically collecting things, is the game’s main feature. Throughout the levels, there are shining orbs of money and power-ups. Each money orb you gather contributes to your timer, which enables you to stay on track for a longer period and earn a better score. Power-ups include police slowing down temporarily and a “ram” mode that allows breaking roadblocks. The graphics are simple and very colorful, easily recognizable at the same time, and they suit symbolic mobile phases perfectly. Besides a city illuminated by neon lights, other environments in the game include a dusty desert highway and a snowy mountain pass. Vehicles are only a few geometrical blocks, but each one has its unique feeling. A light and agile hatchback will make sharper turns than a heavy muscle car, and a police car’s siren is different, not to mention its slightly higher top speed.
