Humanica Life simulation RPGs are typically about being a hero. However, Humanica is quite different. In this game, you are just a regular person like the ones living in history books. You are given the task of overseeing the whole crime system in a tribal settlement that turns into a metropolis, with the tribal period evolving through the ages to the era of modern science and technology, and then the present time, in which there is a lot of uncertainty regarding the future. So, this is a gameplay through several layers where you control only one character. Still, your life events are mixed with those of the civilization, from getting the first dynasty to dropping out of the historical record, and the various cultural trends at the same time are unfolding. Where you begin is a tiny, tribal community, where you are introduced to the basic survival skills, gathering, crafting, and establishing relationships. Still, as you go back and forth in generations, your line comes to possess your talents, your renown, and the results of your choices. Though you are not given control over a whole civilization, you exist inside it, making a living as a farmer, a blacksmith, a scholar, or a ruler, and the actions of any one of you contribute to the community’s collective knowledge and progress. continents generated by the procedure, climates being changed, and the growth and decline of new civilizations are based on the collective actions of all the players.
