Transience​‍​‌‍​‍‌ invents a new narrative exploration experience that revolves around the Temporal Echo Navigation System. At which point, the characters were stuck in the middle of a frozen moment in time, and they had to manipulate the environmental echoes to patch up the stories they had taken from the decay of the parallel worlds. The main idea of the game is the use of Chronal Resonance Tools that enable players to vibrate the objects to a certain frequency and either unify or break them – thus, for example, making a broken clock that is ticking backwards reveal the hidden messages or a silent radio to transmit the voices of different timelines. A sophisticated Memory Weaving Mechanic involves the player gathering emotional impressions from fragments of personal artefacts and then interweaving them into a narrative that can change the protagonist’s view of past trauma. The game’s Non-Linear Causality Puzzles require players to solve them by rearranging events in reverse order.
