The Forgotten Apartment is an enigmatic, eerie horror game that takes you on a not-too-fast and pitch-dark trip to an old and rotting apartment complex with a very ominous past. The focus of the game is placed not on action but on the process of finding answers to the questions by solving different tasks, environmental storytelling and, of course, the unity of you with your character as a player who wakes up alone in an empty apartment and with apparent amnesia about the reasons for being there. Each room you visit hides different secrets like locks to unlock, mystical papers, and odd sounds that give you the creeps and make you feel that there is something nightmarish that will soon come out from nowhere.

The game doesn’t use situations where you jump from the chair. Instead, it creates an atmosphere of tension through the lack of sound, the ghost-like movements, and the sensation of not being the only person in the room. You will have to look through the items in detail, put together a story from its parts being spread all over the building, and solve the puzzles in order to find out the truth. The deeper you go, the more the apartment starts to morph almost as if it would be responding to the fact of your presence there.

The Forgotten Apartment uses the very space where you would enjoy your daily living as a means of creating a scary journey into the darkness with the help of the extraordinary atmosphere, creepy images, and emotional twists.
