Terminator 2D: NO FATE revolutionises side-scrolling action with its innovative Time Paradox Combat System. It enables the player to take control of Sarah Connor in the past and a reprogrammed T-800 in a post-Judgment Day future. What one does in a timeline affects dynamically where the enemies, environmental hazards, and resources are placed in the other timeline. The game features a Procedural Skynet Defence Grid that adjusts according to player tactics. If the player repeatedly uses stealth, the grid will send out more patrol drones; if the player goes rampage, there will be more HK-Tank deployments.
