Survive The Fall is quite a bloody game with a tactical squad survival concept, which happens in a city that has fallen into a dystopian catastrophe. People in the game face political parties and leaders fighting for power, little resources left, and battles among factions for survival. When it comes to traditional survival games, unlike such games, Survive the Fall game rules focus on the dynamic events of the game world, i.e., factional conflicts. This means that every move the player makes – be it establishing a coalition with warlords, being disloyal to other players, or organizing a riot – directly impacts the city’s power balance.

The players become their group of characters, each having a unique skill, a trauma that needs healing, and underlying things that keep them all going, eventually leading to the necessity of making hard choices, thus choosing between a friend and a cold realist. The game also has the “Collapse System,” which reconfigures the game every time a new game is started.  An element that ensures unique gaming experiences every time because, during the game, the following situations are likely to follow each other: chaos may lead to the collapse of buildings, rival gangs may cut off transportation routes, and there will no longer be people to receive or hand out the goods.

The game is quite interesting in that it successfully integrates real-time strategy components with the pause-and-plan technique, which in turn provides the possibility of making various moves such as surprise attacks and sabotage. In the meantime, tactically outsmarting is possible, culminating in a hopeless, charming battle in the last enemy position.

The particular outcome of a scavenging mission cannot be prophesized: who knows, you may result in a situation where you can, if nothing else, go to a hospital, liberate vials of blood to save your life, and demonstrate the humanist in you by sharing them with the needy – thus looking as a hero in the eyes of others. Within the next quarter of an hour, when you come back from the ward after having begged the doctor for help with your wound, you’ll find the police forcing. They are the cruelest of their type – thus, they immediately seize the whole stock of medicine first in outrage and, secondly, thinking you are supposed to die, aid in preparation.

It could be that the loud synth-wave sounds cause a shiver to run down your spine; therefore, the very essence of this game consists neither of scenes where players watch a plot unfold in a deliberate, coordinated manner nor of scenes generated naturally due to the algorithms of some machine in oblivion, but of scenes that directly emanate from the thinking of actual players.
