Rhythm Doctor is a high-energy rhythm game that goes from a medical drama to a musical genius by giving the players the task of saving patients just by pressing one button in the perfect rhythm with their crazy heartbeats. Every stage shows one new heart rhythm—some even and some crazy irregular—along with faction-changing, genre-mixing pieces that change tempo, time signatures, and visuals to trick players. One of the most clever aspects of the gameplay is that it is very simple: only hitting the 7th beat seems easy until you get polyrhythms, off-beat tricks, and hallucinatory visuals that confuse your sense of the music.

Playing “Co-Op CPR” mode, the two players have to exchange beats in perfect harmony, while the “Miracle Mode” solo side challenges the players to be the ones who bring the dead back to life with improvised rhythms.
