Players take the role of a brave merchant-adventurer who, along with running a shop in the serene town of Rynoka, is also the only one to discover the existence of a limitless, procedurally generated dungeon that changes its reality every time you go down. Selling the mysterious artifacts and monster parts you have found in the Vault, you have gone through days of your excellent shop management in the peaceful town of Rynoka, where you use not only advanced but also clever pricing and marketing strategies. These include supply-and-demand tracking, customer haggling minigames, and themed window displays. You then reinvest your profits into upgrading your equipment, expanding the store, and hiring specialized assistants who can be given the work of automation. By night, you plunge into the Vault itself, a living and respiring maze where each level is made up of a set of randomly chosen “Reality Fragments” that determine its environment, dangers, and monsters, so that you have to constantly change your fighting method and weapons from your great selection of both. The main trick the Vault plays on you is its “Echo Economy”: some items have a special harmony with the dungeon’s power, which lets you create short-lived, run-specific changes to your skills, or to the surroundings, thus using each run as a different puzzle of strategy.
