MISERY​‍​‌‍​‍‌ is a sharply ruthless survival simulation of the bottom layer of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It is a fight for survival that is so tough that even the environment in the Zone becomes your enemy. The gameplay is consistently challenging and requires the player to manage resources very carefully and also think ahead; basically, every bullet, bandage, and pinch of bread is a thing that has to be scavenged. At the same time, the game has a pretty complicated weight system, which lowers the performance of those players who have a lot of items in their inventory.
