Lost Soul Aside game stays true to its title as it is a brilliant combination of fast-paced spectacle and technical precision, which could be summed up as the controlled chaos of Devil May Cry working perfectly alongside the smooth, aerial combat of Final Fantasy XV. Kazer, whom we are given the control of, is a man, strangely merged with a crystal dragon, so instead of running through the battlefields, he seems to be skating and thus incredibly quickly and so elegantly, because he is actually just phasing through the air in a never-ending, ghostly blue energy trail, which also happens to create after-image effects around him.

The main ingenuity is, however, in the setup with the dragon, Arena; one moment you are going through a roiling, ground-based sword combo, and the very next moment, you are switching over to a dual-state attack where Arena is at your side physically to perform lightning tandem strikes, doing it all without the combo counter being reset. Fighting is an exhilarating experience of parries, accuracy dodges that activate a slow temporal effect, and handling a resource that permits the change of limbs, which in fact are weapons; thus, you can change your sword into huge claws or a whip-sword right in the middle of the battle.

It is a flight of furious, acrobatic ballet against the giants that take up the whole screen, tests your reflex in the blink of an eye, but also your skill with strategy. All this gets to the point of a sensory overload with all the particle effects, the kinetic impact, and the feeling of being given off an incredible fluidity of movement.
