Garten of Banban 8: Anti Devil unravels a terrifyingly flipped version of the once colourful kindergarten in which the characters that controlled the pulsating, fleshy labyrinth are the new cosmic horrors, thus forcing you to utilise the experimental Anti-Devil technology on them, the very ones you ran away from. In this new chapter, the gameplay has been changed from pure stealth to strategic bio-mechanical combat, where players are able to use a prototype energy gauntlet for temporarily stunning, repelling, or pacifying, as well as for fusion with the creatures’ distorted frequencies. The latter, however, is a mechanic that requires exact timing and resource management since every time one uses the gauntlet, a power cell gets discharged. There must be recharging at unstable energy wells, which are scattered in the ever-changing environment.
