Fighting​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Force Collection brings back the 3D beat ’em up game to the contemporary world by turning the nostalgic, corridor-style fighting into an exciting, arena-based cooperative chaos and tactical environmental destruction. Fighting is through the four-character team, with each having distinct combos, grapple throws, and screen-clearing specials that can be used to fight the waves of different gang members and large bosses through the destructible multi-path urban environments, such as the shopping mall, industrial docks, and neon-lit streets. One of the biggest ideas is the “Impact Engine” that makes every object a weapon: by breaking plate-glass windows, throwing gas canisters into enemies for a spectacular explosion, and dismantling scaffolding to collapse the whole part of the battlefield, thus providing strategic opportunities and crowd-control moments. The game is designed for a continuously drop-in co-op mode, where the composition of a team and dedicated synchronised attacks, like setting a partner’s grapple finisher or combining powers for devastating team-up moves, become key to dominating the increasing enemy onslaught.
