EMERGENCY 2 is a fascinating and intense real-time strategy and crisis simulation game that allows players to oversee the work of police, fire, and medical units during large disasters. The game differs from traditional RTS titles, as the main character is not killed; instead, the focus shifts to detailed coordination, resource management, and instant decision-making to both rescue and bring peace again. Players will have to dispatch the firefighters to put out the fire and instruct the paramedics on treating the sick. Additionally, they will also have to manage police squads to control or arrest criminals during a panicked crowd. All these activities must be completed. At the same time, personnel and vehicles are at their lowest points.

There are numerous such accidents in the game, for example, train fatalities and gas leaks, which can lead to the death of people through radiation, viruses, or artificial agents. They can also be the bases for terrorists without considering the natural disasters that can also lead to the previous ones. Experiencing the jam, fire, and increasing anarchy separately would have been enough. Still, the game designers have cleverly combined the three scenarios, forcing players to deal with more complicated situations, that is, to be prepared for any other situation at the same time.

Due to its perspective, Emergency 2 is a simulation with realistic emergency mechanics and slow, carefully crafted choices, which can be difficult yet still very engaging. This is the game’s ultimate ambition: to test players’ brains and crisis management skills.
