BIOMUTANT is a colorful, post-apocalyptic, open-world action RPG game where the players become a customizable, anthropomorphic mutant that survives in a world that has been reclaimed by nature and is full of strange creatures. The game’s combat system, which is very smooth and inspired by martial arts, allows switching between melee, ranged, and mutant powers—such as telekinesis, explosions of fungus, or turning your arms into weapons—effortlessly, in addition to chaining acrobatic dodges and parries like a stylish, kinetic.

Traversing the world is the main focus here, and the vastness is reflected in the diverse biomes ranging from neon-lit toxic zones to overgrown cybernetic ruins, each hiding lore-rich relics, mutated bosses, and dynamic environmental puzzles. The extensive crafting system lets you scavenge and engineer weapons from junk, making things like electrified katanas to bio-mechanical shotguns. At the same time, mutations and bio-points provide the possibility to turn your creature into something with traits such as wings for gliding or gills for underwater exploration.
