Beeny is a charming puzzle-platformer based on bees with a compelling, intensely eclectic honeycomb strategy of a dynamic hexagon grid. Players take on the role of a bee that saves a dying hive by cleverly working the shape and position of honeycomb cells. The game’s essence revolves around the basis of resource flow physics, which is the core gameplay component. The pollens, water, and royal jelly that players collect first need to be routed through the channels in the bees’ combs to the larva chambers that require nourishment; hence, complex routing puzzles must be solved within time bounds before the resources freeze.
