Arcade Mayhem Juanito is a frantic and diverse party game where the central mechanic is the Dynamic Arcade Cabinet Swapping System. The players physically twist the arcade cabinet in the form of a four-sided object, so each face has a cabinet of a different game. So, in one match, you can experience a beat ’em up, a shoot ’em up, a racing game, and a puzzle platformer, with the player’s score seamlessly carrying over and between the genres. The game is fuelled by the Cross-Genre Combo Multiplier Engine that encourages the players to chain together one type of action after another from different game styles; for example, the player kills an enemy in the brawler segment and that drops a power-up which, when picked up in the racing segment, triggers the speed boost that is then used to solve the puzzle based on timing in the platforming section. Juanito, the mastermind behind the chaos, is a very smart AI Director whose role is that of a chaotically funny game show host who not only runs the game but also randomly throws at the players different kinds of modifiers like controls being reversed, sudden genre changes, or mandatory paired objectives that basically shut two players down, forcing them to cooperate to achieve the goal only by cooperation.
