Alien: Fireteam Elite is a co-op survival shooter that makes players’ hearts race and sets them on a collaborative task with intense tactical precision that could have saved them from a horrible death. In the game, players take on the role of a tough team of Colonial Marines who are fighting through narrow corridors and spaceships that are no longer operated and hive-like nightmare environments that are full of Xenomorphs. Every meeting with the enemy is a new challenge that calls for strategic load-outs, clever positioning, and unending firepower.

The game’s class-based system—featuring Gunner, Demolisher, Technician, Doc, and Recon—permits abilities such as turret deployment, trauma stations, and recon drones to be used, thus turning the situation from a firefight to the player’s favour. The Xenomorph AI is very adaptive, with enemies going around, hiding in vents, and attacking the players in waves. At the same time, the big Praetorians and Crushers still need heavy weapons and concentrated teamwork to bring them down. The Dynamic Horde Mode and Survival Missions make it really hard for players with their escalating threats.

In contrast, deep weapon customization makes the changing of the armory to a tactical one possible, from pulse rifles and smart guns to flamethrowers and incendiary launchers. Environmental hazards like acid blood, spore clouds, and face-hugger ambushes keep tension razor-sharp, and the haunting sound design—from motion tracker pings to the screeches of unseen hunters—immerses players in the terror of deep space. Fireteam Elite has it all: the frantic co-op action, the nonstop enemy variety, and the genuine Alien atmosphere. It is a love letter for fans and it is also an adrenaline-fueled shooter experience.
