Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX essentially brings back, with a lot of love, the Sega Master System’s favorite character that was almost forgotten. The gameplay sticks to the main formula of the 1986 classic: you move Alex through colorful, side-scrolling stages, use his iconic punch to get rid of nice-sounding enemies, break blocks to find the hidden items, and collect coins to play the exciting rock-paper-scissors boss battles that give you a mix of luck and the ability to recognize the boss’s pattern.
