Butcher of the North offers a raw survival-horror experience that immerses players in the harsh, cold Arctic environment. The players become both hunter and hunted as they are on a quest to track a mythical wendigo, while on top of that, they have to control their breaking down into cannibal madness through a dynamic Sanity and Hunger System. The main game leverages Thermal Tracking Mechanics to a great extent. Here, the players have to study low heat signatures in the snow to trace the footsteps of the creature.
