Tekken 1 was really the game that paved the way for how fighting games in 3D platforms would be played, beginning with computer controls and advancing to the systems of the game. The idea of the game is a fighting system with a single fight between two selected characters using the special abilities of these fighters from karate, taekwondo, street fighting, or wrestling. Quick strikes, powerful throws, and defensive moves are important elements of the gameplay, and hence, it keeps switching from one powering technique to another. In contrast to all former fighting games, Tekken introduced the aspect of moving into and out of the background, which indeed extended the game width and depth and which, in turn, converted the common technique into something strategic. The controls are the four primary attack buttons: left punch, right punch, left kick, and right kick. Hence, the players can try out different combinations to juggle the opponent for additional damage.
