Zombie Bar Simulator is a wildly chaotic and darkly humorous survival game where players become a desperate bartender who is trying to keep their post-apocalyptic dive bar running—despite the endless zombie hordes outside that are killing everyone. During the day, you are doing your best to scavenge for supplies, craft makeshift weapons, and serve drunk people made out of glow to the few surviving (and heavily armed) who pay in bullets and bandages. However, at night, when the sun sets, the dead crash the party; thus, you have to barricade doors, set up deadly traps, and mix explosive Molotovs from the leftover alcohol. The gameplay is a hectic blend of tower defence and absurd bartending mechanics.

If a “Brain Freeze” tequila shot is served to zombies, they might stop to dance drunkenly. At the same time, customer survivors get more and more bizarre drink requests (for example, a “Molten Whiskey Sour” that is fire-ignited) to morale. Actually, with rogue-lite elements, each attempt of play changes the bar’s layout, zombie types (from ravenous biker ghouls to radioactive sludge monsters), and rare events such as a mariachi zombie band invasion. Will you hold out long enough to gain the fabled “Zombie Tamer” perk, or will your bar still be a place where only a streak of blood marks on the wasteland’s map?
